StanTec Racing

About 5 years ago, my brother, dad and I felt the itch for Baja. After lots of brotherly bickering and negotiating with each other on what vehicle we would want to race, we decided it had to be a truck. After years of internet forum-stalking and pricing out what it would cost to build a truck, we decided that we needed to buy a truck pre-built.

Our biggest issue would be making the trek to the west coast. Off-road racing on motorcycles and ATVs is popular in the Oklahoma /Texas area, but not many people have any idea as to what a long travel suspension race truck is. When trying to explain this, I normally say, "You know those Ford Raptor trucks?...Yeah! One of those, but on steroids.."

Fast forward a few years; We saved the cash and began to look for trucks. We would be a day late or a buck short on everything we could afford. The truck was purchased from Adams Fabrication, who built the truck to compete in the Texas Desert Racing series: https://www.texasdesertracing.com/

My brother and I will be competing in the Texas Desert Racing series, starting in the 2015 season. Stay tuned for updates on races and to the truck!
